The Micro Enterprises Support Programme Trust (MESPT) invites expressions of interest from institutions delivering financial services to the micro-enterprises sector in Kenya. MESPT will provide loans to selected institutions whose activities are in line with our objectives and mission.
Our objectives and mission
The overall objective of MESPT is to promote economic growth, employment creation and poverty alleviation through support to enterprises. The aim is to strengthen financial intermediaries in order to establish a strong, stable, market-based micro-finance sector in Kenya. MESPT only works with institutions that reach, or have the potential to reach a large number of enterprises on a sustainable basis. Preference is given to institutions with substantial rural outreach.
