The Micro Enterprises Support Programme Trust (MESPT) has received funding from the Government of Denmark to implement a Microfinance Capacity Building Matching Grant Fund project in Kenya. MESPT invites Expressions of Interest for capacity building matching grants from Micro Finance Organizations (MFIs, Saccos, “village banks”(FSAs), CBOs) and other organizations lending or willing to start lending to growth oriented enterprises. For purposes of this project, a growth oriented enterprise has been defined as that enterprise whose borrowing requirements are between Kshs. 300,000 and Kshs. 3 Million. This fund (running up to December 2010), is expected to enhance the competitiveness of growth oriented Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). The fund is available to organizations in all parts of Kenya.
